Seriously, am I the only person who just can’t help but laugh at every single picture of Chirolyn?..
Even when he looks normal.. I just have to laugh xDD
Wait when DOES he look normal..Hahah. He’s a funny dude, and very sweet. It is hard not to smile at him, always :)

FROM TWITTER: Yay! Seems that CHIROLYN (GACKT, Spread Beaver, Madbeavers, Chirolyn and the Angels) has a new album coming out, titled REGULATION OF THE DEVIL. I suck at Japanese and largely rely on Google Translate BUT it looks like he just wrapped up the studio work and it will be out on 31st October.
It’ll be available for pre-order from his website (though possibly only within Japan), previews will go up on MySpace in mid-October and best news of all as far as I’m concerned, it seems as though it’s going to get digital distribution at least in Japan and the EU - maybe the US too.
- Chirolyn’s Website (watch out for auto-launching music) and Mobile Web

Yes, this is shameless shilling but hey, I think he’s an awesome bassist and he seems like a sweet guy. I REGRET NOTHING. Love him, he’s rock n’ roll!
(Picture from his Twitter homepage. If anyone sees any errors in my interpretation let me know and I’ll correct it! Thanks!)

First picture from a blog post today by hidenoheya on Tumblr. The rest from various places online.
t’s funny, but these kind of candid shots where he’s working and hanging out with bandmates are the ones that make me most sorry for hide’s passing. It’s a reminder of how much he must be genuinely missed by those he was closest to and how much (I think) the rock scene both in Japan and beyond lost when he died. I firmly believe he would have made the crossover to international artiste had things gone differently, and I wonder how much that would have broken down the barriers for other musicians. His voracious appetite for music, genre-spanning approach to his own work, obvious eye for talent and innovation - plus the respect he commanded among his peers - is probably irreplaceable. And as a music lover in general, more than as a fan in particular, that makes me sad

On bass… Chirolyn. Chirolyn. Chirloyn. CHIROLYYYYNNN ! ! !
Because DAMN, the man has skills. And he doesn’t get enough love :)
(and yes I know that’s a guitar, but I like the photo haha)
